Thanks Bill, I do have three mandrels for the horizontal mill and I believe you are right about the #10 taper because it is a bit bigger than the taper in the mandrel of the vertical attachment which measures up to be a #9 taper as Wayne suggested ( I did a bit more measuring ) .
